NASA specialists have created VR application that opens the way to travel through the vastness of space for anyone.
The NASA administration has officially announced the release of the application, which is cognitive and entertaining. It allows you to go beyond dry facts, creating a scientific program. Exoplanet Excursions can work with Oculus and HTC Vive VR headsets. Wearing a helmet, a person enters virtual reality: a 3D model of the universe. Visual effects allow comparative analysis and work with each of the objects. It is known that applications will be available for Android and iOS.

Using the application, NASA experts plan to expand people’s knowledge of the structure of the universe. The mysteries of the cosmos are easiest to comprehend with the help of visualization, since dry descriptions of many phenomena on paper often remain incomprehensible. It is known that application maps will be supplemented.
It has been proven that the digitalization of the learning process really makes it possible to improve the perception of the material, but it is not yet known whether NASA’s developments will be used in educational programs. A number of projects are also working on similar ideas today, the main task of which is to provide the best tools for educational work.
Earlier we wrote that NASA makes it possible for anyone to create their own apparatus for movement on the surface of rocky planets..
